I don't know of any bugs similar to this. It sounds like a connectivity issue: the phone is requesting the pause (or play), but not hearing a response and unable to make more calls. Could I take a look a the log files on your Sisyphus? Go to Settings->Advanced->Log Files and be sure the "Share Log Files" is enabled. I'll also need to know the ID of your table which you can find at the top of the Advanced Settings page (should look like: pi_0000000012345678). @bruce Yes, the web-app worked well. I recommend that Sisyphus Support take down the old YouTube video(s) with out-of-date Info. Or update them with new descriptions that REALLY highlights the web-app.

@kieran-eglin - Almost all the tracks in the "default" playlist that ships with our tables and Minis were created by me (some are over 20 years old now). While these are shipped to all our customers, and can be downloaded directly to tables / Minis using our app, I choose not to make the raw thr files publicly available. However, we have a great series of video tutorials that should give you considerable Info on how to create tracks yourself.

John, This issue WAs found and fixed, but we thought it WAs only affecting new installs. So if you were an early to update to 1.10.83, the fix may not have been included in the download. There are two steps I'd like you to follow to get the table functioning correctly. First thing is to get the network straightened out. @kris9209 - I have no idea what the issue WAs, other than their Mini WAs not powering on. The key Info from this thread is that this forum is not the place for troubleshooting table / Mini problems. We have a great support team (in-house), and take great pride in our support track record. Once again: please contact our support desk for help if your table / Mini is not working properly.

Hi Bruce. Thanks for the Info. It occurred to me that you would need to directly access the power bank to physically turn it on or off and the only WAy of doing this would be to remove the glass top of the Mini each time. This would not be practical so the battery would be better off being kept outside the unit. With more and more electrical appliances having their own built in rechargeable batteries maybe this would be an idea for future development? Not a criticism just an idea.

Thanks for the Info Micah, As it turns out I did not need the external antenna after all. See attached the pictures of what the table looks like after some small modifications :). It almost looks like my coffee table and the Sisyphus metal coffee table were made to be together. @ddkengr - Our dev team is working on that part of the API - both for position Info to go in and out.

Thank you so much for the reply and Info! Maybe another easier option would be to have night mode with daily options (you could pick each day when you WAnt it to turn on/off, or not turn on at all on certain days)?

A little more Info to help focus your search: Some of the tracks I submitted were just the reverse of other tracks, which I thought maybe were not approved for that fact (ex. DougO-Asym1Rev). I submitted them that WAy thinking that for tracks that look very different depending on direction you would be able to view a thumbnail of the track forward and reverse on the app and also insert them more easily in playlists. Two tracks (DougO-AsymBasket and DougO-Pangolin) didn't have that problem though, so I'm not sure what would have been wrong with them.

Great Info. By the IP address I can tell that it is having issues with getting the wifi network set up on the OS level. While your table is running, manually hold the button on the Reset Button for 3 seconds. This FAQ page has an image of where to find the button: Don't follow the directions on that page, as that will do a hard reset removing your old settings/tracks/etc. The red light should flash 3 times when successful. After this, the correct Sisyphus-Jeff hotspot network should appear. If that doesn't work, then we may need to escalate the recovery process to the article above. Matt

I have a variation of this problem -- but appears to be stuck in a cycle that repeats endlessly every 2 min. Brand new table, just unboxed, happens upon startup. I sent in a service request, but WAnted to also post here in case anyone else has seen this and has a fix / suggestions. ... for two reasons. First, the Erase track will only play center-out that WAy; it would really be nice to be able to specifically choose to play a track in reverse.... And more annoyingly, if I WAit for the Erase track to complete by arriving at Rho 1, then even if I select another single track that BEGINS at Rho 1, the table homes to Rho 0 before going back to Rho 1 to begin the track, leaving me with 2 connection lines before the track begins. I work in IT, so I understand that bugs happen, and I'm used to testing, troubleshooting, and narrowing down prob ...

jonj-kay, I noticed the release that WAs published on Test Flight and the one I intended for the group to have our not the same. I am WAiting for apple to review the version I would like you to use. (which has log-in credential persistence) and some other features. Look for 1.8.56 in the next day or so. Sorry for pushing the old version and thanks for the Info! Curtis
