| RE: Information about Rho Start/Endion ! | 3 Relevance | 4 years ago | ranord50 | App Usage | |
| @bruce Hi Bruce, This is something I've been looking for but when I click the 3 dots to the right of the track name in the track list I don't see the Rho Start/End Info. What am I missing. Thanks Roger | |||||
| RE: New User - Table Troubleshooting | 3 Relevance | 4 years ago | Bruce | Table Usage | |
| ... this configuration -- so either this is a DIY change made by the prior owner, or it WAs a beta table of one of our employees, from early trials of colored lighting in our shop. We can't provide a quick diagnosis or fix without further Info. 2 - from your picture, your coffee table "thinks" it's an end table (smaller field). This should be easy to fix by changing the table's configuration. First, make sure your table is running the latest firmware by doing a firmware update (in settings). To change table configurations go to Settings > Advanced > tap ... | |||||

| ... error occurs at all speeds, but I typically run my table at the very slowest rate. The picture attached shows it at its lowest speed. I found a previous forum post: , where Bruce suggested we could use the table's advanced settings to adjust the "homing offset" but I wonder if there may have been changes to the menu in the two years since that post WAs made as I don't see any homing offset (unless the "jog" options are what I'm looking for?) and the settings I've tried don't appear to make any difference when I adjust them. | RE: Removing ball hide plastic | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Table Usage | |
| Yes, you can remove it. But it's stuck in place by relatively tenacious double sided tape, so use a thin non-pointed blade (butter knife) to pry it up around the edges, working slowly around the plastic edge, while firmly pressing down on the beige cushion fabric so it doesn't come up with the plastic. Also, you can change the configuration of your table so it won't bother to do the parking routine when it boots up. You can change the configuration by going to Settings / Advanced, then tap the "Advanced" banner at the top 7 times, which will then open the "expert settings". Look down the list of current Info on your table, and note the Configuration. Scroll down to "Sisyphus settings >" and choose the same configuration, but without "2ball" in its name. | |||||
| RE: Offset bug-like event | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Beta releases and bugs | |
| I'd need more Info to be sure, but from your description, it sounds like the erase did not start from home (Rho = 0). The "clunk" might be the Rho axis running to its end of travel (which causes no harm, but sounds bad). I'm also guessing you are built the offset track using Sandify (which has an XY offset function)? All valid Sisyphus tracks must be "conformal" - meaning start and end points must be have Rho = 0 or 1. Our software should auto-correct any non-conformal tracks, but maybe there is something about your track causes this to fail. It would ideal if you could DM the track file so we can take a look at it. Also - if you are using Sandify, don't forget to choose to force the end points to either "center" or "perimeter" (after choosing "polar machine". | |||||

| RE: Pause fail | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | matt2 | Table Usage | |
| I don't know of any bugs similar to this. It sounds like a connectivity issue: the phone is requesting the pause (or play), but not hearing a response and unable to make more calls. Could I take a look a the log files on your Sisyphus? Go to Settings->Advanced->Log Files and be sure the "Share Log Files" is enabled. I'll also need to know the ID of your table which you can find at the top of the Advanced Settings page (should look like: pi_0000000012345678). You can email me that Info at matt[at]sisyphus-industries.com Thanks! | |||||

| @bruce Yes, the web-app worked well. I recommend that Sisyphus Support take down the old YouTube video(s) with out-of-date Info. Or update them with new descriptions that REALLY highlights the web-app. | |||||
| RE: Can We get a copy of the default Sisyphus Tracks as .thr files? | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Community Tracks | |
| @kieran-eglin - Almost all the tracks in the "default" playlist that ships with our tables and Minis were created by me (some are over 20 years old now). While these are shipped to all our customers, and can be downloaded directly to tables / Minis using our app, I choose not to make the raw thr files publicly available. However, we have a great series of video tutorials that should give you considerable Info on how to create tracks yourself. | |||||
| RE: Table loses its IP on FW 1.10.83 | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | matt2 | Table Usage | |
| John, This issue WAs found and fixed, but we thought it WAs only affecting new installs. So if you were an early to update to 1.10.83, the fix may not have been included in the download. There are two steps I'd like you to follow to get the table functioning correctly. First thing is to get the network straightened out. A power-cycle should allow the network to reconnect correctly, but if that does not, hold the reset button for 5 seconds on the Pi hat while the table is running. See: After you get the table correctly on your home network, use the ap ... | |||||

| @kris9209 - I have no idea what the issue WAs, other than their Mini WAs not powering on. The key Info from this thread is that this forum is not the place for troubleshooting table / Mini problems. We have a great support team (in-house), and take great pride in our support track record. Once again: please contact our support desk for help if your table / Mini is not working properly. | |||||
| RE: Power Bank and Mini (EX) | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | UK Guy | Table Customization | |
| Hi Bruce. Thanks for the Info. It occurred to me that you would need to directly access the power bank to physically turn it on or off and the only WAy of doing this would be to remove the glass top of the Mini each time. This would not be practical so the battery would be better off being kept outside the unit. With more and more electrical appliances having their own built in rechargeable batteries maybe this would be an idea for future development? Not a criticism just an idea. | |||||
