| Sorry yes the App talks to the Sisyphus APIs on standard port 80 (Http default) even though the wen and app interface is on port 3001. The Setup for the Set speed and brightness is better, I worked out the API calls better when I had a second look and had to post actual data to the APIs so play and pause using the Post data for the Set brightness should work better. | |||||

| Correct, I have the start time Set to when Night Mode should start (and the table should turn off). I've only connected to my table with the phone App so far, when I first Set it up the time WAs correct but something happened since to make it change. I will try shifting the start/stop time to compensate as a temporary solution for now. | |||||

| Version 1.12.25 is out, with updates to the apps (1.12.36) as well. I'm particularly happy with the new LED pattern. Ripples is a bit like WAtching a pond where your ball is a pond-skater. When the ball changes directions or hits the edge, it makes a WAve across the sand field. Smoother tracks have a smoother surface, busy tracks make for WAvy pond. | There is no need to browse all of the menus for it. At the top of the screen on the Tracks tab is a window. Just Type "erase" and all tracks with the word "erase" in it's name will appear for you to click on and run. | |||||

| You can make one yourself easily. Go to sandify.org. Select shape Type of 'Text'. Customize the message, choose a font, and add whatever else you WAnt. | |||||

| Hello! Hope you all are doing well. I'm trying to get my sisyphus table to produce a logo, but I'm struggling to get the SVG working correctly. Does anyone here know how to create a workable SVG track? It's a very simple line art logo that I believe should be a '1-1' Type of track. I have been trying to create it myself in Illustrator, but keep running into problems with extra lines being added into the design... Is anyone able to help me with this? Thank you! Nathan | |||||

| Following on from playing around with the flic buttons to control my sisyphus table via a home automation hub, I use home assistant at home so I have Set it up to control my sisyphus, Current Setup is When an erase track starts Set speed to 100%When erase track finishes Set back to 30%When I leave home pause the tableWhen I return Resume the table.You can also adjust the Speed and brightness of Sisyphus in home assistant with slide bars and Pause / Unpause etc with clickable scripts.If there is interest I can publish my whole config to Github for users, but to test you can add the following to your Home assistant configs to test Sisyphus if you do config.yaml, groups.yaml and scripts.yaml first you can see the status of Sisyphus without worrying about making the automation work (As it depends on having presence detection Setup) Ill Attach 1 file to each post (If you just use configuration.yaml) you will be able to see the Status of Sisyphus in the top header of home assistant. | My wifi network has a short, easy to Type password because I live in the boonies and there is no need to create a long, 8 character password (especially on televisions and other internet-connected appliances that make you "type" with an IR remote). Unfortunately, the Sisyphus app has other ideas about this and won't join my wifi. I'm not going to change my wifi password because it would disconnect all of those devices, and my captive portal network (for guests) has a "ToS checkbox" for them to accept, which confuses the heck out of the box as well, so... | Okay, this is a different scenario than I read initially, but now it's clear to me. The router you're using has a captive portal login. There are a couple obstacles to using a Sisyphus table on this Type of network: Our app does not support establishing this Type of connection. Captive portals frequently have client isolation. So even if the device did connect the mobile app would not be able to communicate with it. If client isolation is not enforced it would be accessible to all others on the network. Many organizations using a captive portal would consider this as not an approved device for connecting to their network. Currently the only workaround is to have the network admin white list the device by mac address and ensure client isolation is not enforced. Thanks | |||||

| I just got my Sisyphus Xyla — thanks so much for a gorgeous table! I'm using Sandify to create my first track. As a guess, I Set the following dimensions for the machine: Type: Rectangular Min x (mm): 100 Max x (mm): 1350 Min y (mm): 100 Max y (mm): 650 However, when I export either to THR format or SVG format, when I go to upload the track to , the result seems to assume I'm using the older round table style, even if I select the "XYLA" tag. Here's what it looks like in Sandify, the Sisyphus uploader, and the web interface for my Xyla. It seems to be correctly rectangular and has about the right aspect ratio in Sandify but looks squished after I upload it as if it were forced to the round table style. | Hi Raphael, The Sisyphus App already runs on Windows (or any OS that supports a web browser). You simply Type your table's IP address into the browser's address with ":3001" at the end. Here are the full directions. The web interface is very similar to the mobile app GUI, but there are a few more options (like uploading track files from your computer to your table). Bruce | |||||

| ... on the X axis (doing a Cartesian translation of the polar .thr file)? The letters are reversed. I've only noticed this since most of my previous submissions were symmetric objects and the mirroring WAs not apparent. I just mirror the Cartesian file on the X axis and it looks "normal". But is this just how the table software works? | |||||

| Update: after doing a factory reset, installing the latest firmware update 1.10.83, and downloading user-generated tracks through the iPhone app, I discovered that all of these tracks are being downloaded without respecting the "reversible" flag Setting in Webcenter. In other words, if the track is Type 01 and the author allows it to be drawn reversibly, the downloaded track has "reversible" unchecked in the library. I have to go in and check it manually. Again, I'm doing this on a fresh firmware install on a factory reset table. Since the factory reset installs the default playlist tracks, those have the reversible flag Set correctly already. It's only if I try to download a reversible track that it gets unchecked. | |||||

| ... coming up, I designed a 3D-printable clip to hold aftermarket bumpers in place along the rim. I'm using the "50 pcs 8.5mm X 2.5mm special shape" bumpers from this $9 318 piece Set. These bumpers are $9 for 50 ($0.17 each, or $0.03 each if you include the value of the other bumpers included). It takes about 18 minutes to print 6 of them on my printer. I printed them in black PLA-CF. They will be a little tight when you re-insert the wood ring.
