Sandify dimensions for Xyla table?

I just got my Sisyphus Xyla — thanks so much for a gorgeous table!

I'm using Sandify to create my first track. As a guess, I set the following dimensions for the machine:

  • Type: Rectangular
  • Min x (mm): 100
  • Max x (mm): 1350
  • Min y (mm): 100
  • Max y (mm): 650

However, when I export either to THR format or SVG format, when I go to upload the track to https://webcenter.sisyphus-industries.com/tracks , the result seems to assume I'm using the older round table style, even if I select the "XYLA" tag.

Here's what it looks like in Sandify, the Sisyphus uploader, and the web interface for my Xyla. It seems to be correctly rectangular and has about the right aspect ratio in Sandify but looks squished after I upload it as if it were forced to the round table style.

Thanks for the heads up, the SVG aspect ratio was being squished to fit in a square.

I've fixed that issue, and made the change so tracks tagged with XYLA appear as rectangles too.

Please try uploading again, and let me know if it does not behave as expected.

Oh, and for the right dimensions: 914mm x 406mm for metal table, 1245mm x 533mm for hardwood. Or any numbers where the aspect ratio fits those dimensions (roughly 2.25:1). The track will automatically be scaled to fit within the bounds no matter which table you have.

Thanks, Matt! I re-uploaded the SVG and made sure to set the XYLA tag, but the resulting file seems to crop only the top half of the design (see attached screenshot).

It also seems to still put the design inside a circle instead of letting it fill out the full rectangle.

Hmm. Could be that your browser cache needs to be cleared, the image preview is generated on your local browser before upload. However, I see the image generated from your upload tonight was still squished. I'll take a look again in the morning and get it fixed up.

I'm sorry, I forgot to write back yesterday. I checked the upload process, and it seems to work correctly. I would suggest clearing your browser cache before uploading additional tracks.

I fixed the one you did upload, so if it is already on your XYLA, you might want to re-download it from Community. Please let me know if the cache-clearing doesn't fix future uploads, or if you have any other questions or comments.
