| RE: New table stuck on "HOMING YOUR TABLE" | 2 Relevance | 4 years ago | Bruce | Table Usage | |
| @debra-powell Sorry for the trouble - this is a hardware problem that you will need our Support team to trouble shoot. Please contact them here. | |||||
| RE: New table stuck on "HOMING YOUR TABLE" | 2 Relevance | 4 years ago | factures | Table Usage | |
| @debra-powell My table only works if i go back to Factory and do one update maximum. The only downside is the pop up for the update that keeps comming up in the application every time i log in. Support said it's not software related, but that's how it works for me... Unfortunatly 🙂 for the past 3 years... | |||||
| RE: Track corruption on restore -- please add Backup/Restore | 2 Relevance | 4 years ago | matt2 | Table Usage | |
| John, Sorry for that. We have found some cards that shipped in the past have slightly less space on them. We've updated the download image to fit those as well now. Please download the latest from the Support page: | |||||
| RE: Unable to perform reset | 2 Relevance | 4 years ago | Bruce | Connectivity | |
| Sorry your having trouble with your Mini. Other than power cycling your Mini (unplug for 10+ seconds; plug back in), and leaving it powered for an hour (sometimes the automatic firmware reset can take a long time) - if it still remains unresponsive, it will take more trouble shooting with our Support team. I see your submitted ticket - you will hear from them tomorrow when they return to work. | |||||
| RE: What size power supply end | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Table Usage | |
| It's a commonly available size - 5.5 x 2.1 mm. You can find it on Amazon, e.g. like this, or contact our Support team and they'll send one out (it should be in our Parts Store - I'll get it added soon - but it's not expensive). | |||||
| RE: Flickering white LEDs | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Table Usage | |
| You can try disconnecting and reconnecting the 3-wire cable to the lights, at the connector near the start of the light strip, and at the circuit board - but if that doesn't remedy the flickering, the strip will need replacement. Please contact our Support team. | |||||
| RE: Coffee table goes nuts | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | matt2 | Table Usage | |
| Adam, These are some weird behaviors. I could understand pause/play not changing if the table WAs being unresponsive, but I would expect the Reboot to also be unresponsive if that is the case. I would suggest starting a trouble ticket, either from Settings->Submit Support Request, or at We'll take a look at your logs and see if we can determine what WAs going on. | |||||
| RE: Table is doing odd things | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bev | Table Usage | |
| Do you have a second ball? This is just a hunch, but the errant drawing doesn't look haphazard - there are definitely "related features" - which makes me suspect that the head ball got picked up by the tail magnet. So what you're currently seeing are inside-out version of tracks. To confirm this, reboot your table (either form the app or by power cycling). The ball should go to the center, but I predict it will go to the edge. If I'm right, you'll need to take off the glass, pickup the ball and place it near the center, where you'll feel the head magnet grab it. If I'm wrong, please contact our Support staff. Bruce | |||||
| Maintenance track wish | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | adambrower | Table Usage | |
| As several other users have noted, simple physics makes it inevitable that sand will accumulate at Rho 1.0. On tables set up for 2-ball, the presence of the ballpark makes it far from trivial to craft a script that will plow that sand back to Rho<1. To make life easier for those of us with large tables configured for 2-ball, I wish @Bruce or @Matt would take a few minutes to craft a track that moves the sand back to rho<1. I'm very tired of hoisting the glass, grooming sand, and then finding the rubber bumpers that have escaped before replacing it. I know that current policy is to deprecate 2-ball products going forward, but perhaps the "plow-in" script could be propagated only to owners of large tables configured for 2-ball. I promise not to share the script, nor to pester the Support team if the script misbehaves. | |||||

| ... table or Mini. Recall that the tail-ball is always located at the head-ball's Theta + Pi, and 1 - head-ball's Rho. From there you should be able to figure out the analogous head ball parking tracks. However - we are not recommending doing so. I WAs initially excited when I discovered the ability to add 2-ball function, and the WAy it can produce very nice patterns with some algorithmic tracks. And the ball park is designed symmetrically because head-ball parking WAs planned. But we've recently stopped shipping with 2-ball mode, and are moving away from of ... | |||||

| No worries - we'll get your table connected. We have a good tutorial here. If following the steps it shows is too difficult or doesn't work, please start a ticket on our Support desk. They're extremely good at helping with "on boarding." | |||||

| @bruce Yes, the web-app worked well. I recommend that Sisyphus Support take down the old YouTube video(s) with out-of-date info. Or update them with new descriptions that REALLY highlights the web-app. | |||||

| RE: A few suggestions... | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Table Usage | |
| @adambrower Thanks for the in depth feedback! Mea culpa on several points - I will be sharing this to our Support and dev teams. My quick response: teenie-weenie rubber bumpers - We hear you (and you're not alone). We are moving to an all-the-way-around seal for our future tables. sand guide printed on cushion - Don't feel this is crucial, as sand edge and depth are subjective choice variables. There's no single "correct" setting. app connectivity - Full agreement. We are actively working on making it far more robust and intuitive. forum search utility - This one's easy: look for the "spyglass" icon on the right of the Forum menu banner. | |||||

| I will assume you tried more than once? (The screen you show happens when you enter the wrong or mis-typed password.) If you're sure that you entered it correctly, but still cannot connect, this will take some more troubleshooting. Please start a ticket on our Support desk -- rest assured, they will get you connected! | |||||

| Happy to hear you're enjoying the table - but not that it's having problems. This forum is great for sharing knowledge and experience, but not ideal for troubleshooting. We do however have a great Support team. Please start a ticket by submitting a request (if you have pics of the sand field during the problem you described, please attach it to the request). Rest assured, we will get your table back to normal function. | |||||
| RE: Mini LED add | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Table Customization | |
| Yes, it should be possible to add a string of single-color LED's (presumably white, but doesn't matter). The key is they need to be rated for 12VDC. The 2-wire connector we use is not the "standard" one that you'll find on strips from Amazon. If you need help connecting the lights to the Sisbot board, drop a request with our Support staff, who can guide you through it. As long as you don't short the two wires, you can't cause any harm. | |||||
