| A carriage approaches! Mechanical build is coming along nicely. I have a laser cut turntable with 480 teeth, slide mechanism is bonded precisely using alignment holes. I have the optical limit for theta using a short piece of black zip tie. Now the hard part: I have to get this precision machine to mate to the table that is anything but precise. The band isn't round, or even Oval. It is kind of egg shaped? The legs aren't at 90°, and there are only 4 screws holding down the top, but 5 holes. | Hi @pawliger. I have had problems in the last couple of days as well. But I went to the Support section, tried a few of the suggestions there and when they did not work, used the Help Oval at the bottom right of the page. I WAs able to create a support ticket and someone got back to me within a couple of hours. I don't know if you tried that or not. | |||||

| @bychance - Yes. The latest firmware provided new options for the pause time between tracks. First, update your table / Mini by going to Settings > Firmware Update. Then once the update is complete, go to Settings and check the Box under the Speed slider that says "Pause between tracks." This will then show another Box and menu for setting the amount of time it stays paused before automatically restarting. Check the "Restart after" Box as well, once you've chosen the time you WAnt. | |||||

| When uploading a track, currently the text in the "creator" Box is real text instead of shadow text. This means you have to delete all the text before you type in creator. It should be shadow text that disappears when you click in the Box to being entering creator name | |||||

| Okay, well, if you think it’s relatively safe I’ll start using it more. Not worried about cleaning the glass, just worried about liquid wicking under the glass and dripping onto the display. In retrospect, though, I guess that’s like buying a beautiful diamond and putting it in a safe deposit Box rather than wearing it- thanks for the advice! (As I said before, I DO love “her”, and even after 2+ years I alter my path through the house daily just to see what she’s up to!) 😊 | |||||

| There is a very high chance that I didn't actually attach it.. Thought I did but I guess it's good I didnt so I can package everything. The option you mentioned isn't there, but "Pack Resources" is, as well as "Pack linked libraries". I clicked both of those. There's also a check Box item for "Auto-Pack resources." I checked that one and hit save again, so the (actually) attached .blend file should have everything. The video I used is split into like 1000 .png files, and I don't think it's in the .blend file, because it's 700~ MB, which I can't upload here. | |||||

| My wifi network has a short, easy to type password because I live in the boonies and there is no need to create a long, 8 character password (especially on televisions and other internet-connected appliances that make you "type" with an IR remote). Unfortunately, the Sisyphus app has other ideas about this and won't join my wifi. I'm not going to change my wifi password because it would disconnect all of those devices, and my captive portal network (for guests) has a "ToS checkbox" for them to accept, which confuses the heck out of the Box as well, so... | The new Sandify is unusable for me. I'm running a Mac Pro (not Macbook) with a robust video card and mbl's of DRAM. OS is far from current, but the previous Sandify site functioned just fine under El Capitan 10.11.6. This version of the site, though, renders as a blank screen under Firefox, Safari, and even iCab and Brave. Only in Chrome does the site function at all, but I can use only a single layer, because when I add another, every subsequent click anywhere on the window triggers the "New layer" modal dialog Box, so it isn't possible to edit parameters, or to do anything except to quit. I'm disappointed. Is there a new hardware or OS requisite I should know about? | |||||

| If the issue isn't reparable the team will set you up with a complete replacement Sisbot that you can swap in. And then you send the bad bot back to us using the Box the replacement came in, so we can try to ascertain the what happened. | |||||

| @pvildaver - I WAs sent a replacement base and that fixed the issue. I think my original unit WAs defective. I am having issues again though, this time I am getting power to the unit but nothing is happening. Super frustrating considering how expensive these things are! They do not seem very reliable, I can't even display it anymore WAs it just looks like a $800 Box of sand. | |||||

| ... will need for this. All tracks start at either 0 or 1 and end at 0 or 1. You can have any combination of those-- a track that starts and ends at the edge (11), starts at the edge and goes to the center (10), etc. Some tracks are reversible. The erase track is one of those, and it's super simple. It has two lines that read like this, in non-math terms: - Start in the center- Go to the edge, but take the long WAy around Because it's reversible when you play the erase track the first thing the table does is check to see where the ball is. | Bruce, Have you seen this? I bet there would be huge demand for a scaled-down, table-top version of this. The possibilities for what to display "inside" are limited only by the imagination. In addition to WAves, you could have dancing fire, bouncing balls, the solar system, three-dimensional versions of the geometric shapes from the Sisyphus table, splattering paint, moving sand, rain, etc, etc. Just like with the Sisyphus table, there could be a multitude of different animated patterns - with accompanying sound effects - that could be organized in ... | |||||

| A bottom cover would be a great option.. cat likes to stalk the arm underneath.. worried one day a well placed swat of the paw will either damage the mechanics.. or pin an arm.. in the mean time.. going to cut one our from the cardboard of the Box.. using the trim ring as a template.. | |||||

| Hello Micah, thank you for your answer. My question WAs not exact enough. The Fritz!Box is changing the channel from time to time. I think I always lost connection when it changed to Ch13. Because your solutions 1 and 2 are too complicated for me I just set my router to a fixed channel 11. Did not lose connection since. Thanks and have a merry christmas Thorsten | |||||
