| ... sand. You can force a 01 to only play in the 0 to 1 direction by making it not reversible. We don't yet have a WAy to force it to play in the 1 to 0 direction (though you can reverse a 01 track using a utility like Sandify, and save it as a 10 track, and then make that not reversible when you load it onto your Sisyphus). | |||||

| No, the question concerns the Relationship between the end point of a track that ends at rho=1 and the start point of the next track in a playlist. I WAnt to know what (if anything) determines the start point of track 2 on the circle described by rho=1. Attachment : example.png | |||||

| Sisyphus hotspot are reachable but the problem is how can i update while the app can’t connect to wifi, anythings work fine acept the firmware update. | Today we Released a new update to the Sisyphus tables, with a matching update coming to iOS and Android as soon as they pass review with their stores. Sisyphus 1.10.77 update includes: Fix reversible issue with old tracks (endless teardrop) Remove comments/duplicate verts on track intake Hotspot turned off if connected to Ethernet Force Orientation for tracks Download Webcenter tracks directly Async track time calculating, cached track time values (less movement pauses when this occurs) Skip thr lines with more than 2 values, clamp Rho values to -0.1:1.1 App/Browser 1.10.51 update includes: Tablet/Web view layout added (see attachment) Dark Mode (based on your OS settings) Change brightness or Sisyphus from Sleeping Screen Shutdown added to Advanced Settings Improved track time on Home page Force Orientation toggle on track page Additional bug fixes Tilt controller (App only) The update as a whole fixes a number of bugs that could make the table pause movement when is shouldn't have. As for what is coming up in the next updates, we will be working on Erase Between Tracks (it is working, but the playlist logic still needs work). We also are working hard on a new card image that is more resilient to power loss issues and a new update process that is faster and more Reliable. | Hey so I actually wouldn't upload that Who track the manual WAy. When I WAs making the track, I made the image too large and it crashed my table trying to generate the thumbnail. Had to reset it. I WAs told I would not have that issue uploading through the community though so I am WAiting to download it like you are once it gets approved. As for other tracks that are not in the community, you can upload manually using a web browser. this is much easier to do on a computer. follow this link and scroll down to Connecting to your Sisyphus with a browser. | Hello Everyone, I WAnted to see if I could make permanent art using the table. So I decided to replace the sand with mortar. After the design WAs made I spayed with a mist of WAter and let it cure. Then filled with sand and flipped over. Next poured mixed mortar on top to make a disk for it so it could be handled. Now I have a stepping stone. Haha. Enjoy! | I rewrote the text generator program for the Sisyphus table and made a graphical entry form to make it easier to use (photo of new selection screen is below) . I also added a spiral text option to the 3 straight lines or 2 circular ones output and added some text kerning to make output look better (photo of output is also below). The program is written in MS Small Basic - you run the source code so you can see it is clean and not doing anything funny. SmallBasic is free too (download from Microsoft). There are 4 files you need - the program (.sb) file, abcd.txt, adcdp.txt (the 2 font files) and a instruction text file (again - all below) . Just make sure that the files are all in the same directory on your computer! Please give feedback - I think it's pretty bulletproof but PLEASE type input slowly - MS basic takes it time! | ... work fine, just depends on how long you WAnt them to last between charges. If you search on Amazon for "12V lithium" you will find a wide array of choices. Here is what I tested:I also have used a bigger and more expensive one of the same brand. It lasts longer, but is more expensive. I WAs testing on a side table - your Mini take less energy (fewer LEDs) - so the smaller one may be fine. There are several choices that have both 12V (which is what you need) and 5V coming out of a USB port which is nice for charging things. There's nothing complicated about ... | |||||

| ... step by combining the routines, but I WAs too lazy then, and I don't use it very often now (plus, I think the intermediate distortion looks interesting at times). Just vanilla plines (type 0). No arcs, splines, etc. Start and end your tracks either at the center or the edge of the circle. Check the resulting thr file. The rho value of the first and last vertex in the file should be either 0 or 1 (start and end can be the same rho). Rho = 1 is anywhere on your boundary circle. Remember, in the polar world, the path between 2 points is a spiral (Archimedes). ... | |||||

| Sorry for the delay - instead of WAiting for my web-devs to add *.lsp to the list of attachments, I just changed the extension (change back to .lsp after downloading). Since I wrote these routines back in ~2000 using much older ACAD versions, and I WAs very into debugging the conversion, there are two routines involved and some couple caveats: 1- This is a two step process: First, create a circle with center at 0,0 and radius of 1 (this is the just to remind you of the boundary of your drawing canvas). | Hi Rob, Could you please tell me what Sisyphus firmware version you are running? It's located in the Advanced tab at the top of the page. Have you updated the table since you have received it? Also which iPhone do you have and what version are you on? One more big favor which we'd like to see is a video of what's happening. If you could please take a video of using the app over the table to see when or how this is happening I'd truly appreciate it.
