| Error while playing new Play list. | 10 Relevance | 6 years ago | lguo888 | Beta releases and bugs | |
| I created a new playlist with new name. There are more than 150 tracks on the default List. When I WAs trying to add more than 50 tracks a time to my new playlist, the app will Disconnect. So I had to add 10 tracks each time. After adding all the tracks, when I started playing tracks from my new List, there are about 40 tracks only showing at home. But when I click on my new playlist, all the tracks are there. Please look into this. Thanks | |||||
| Accidentally deleted the 'Erase' track from the Tracks list... | 10 Relevance | 6 years ago | Shannon | App Usage | |
| Hello. A new Mini owner here just starting to use the table. Absolutely love playing with it! Last night I erased the table and WAs preparing to select another track when I started the Erase track again by mistake. I pressed the 3 dots to the right and saw the trash can icon. I pressed it thinking it would remove the track from the current queue. Instead, the track WAs deleted from the Tracks List. Erase is still present in one of the Playlists. However, I could not find a WAy to get the track Listed back under the Tracks area. I also tried going to ... | |||||

Are you creating the Playlist after downloading from Community or are you creating the new Playlist from Library? We recently addressed issues with adding tracks to a playlist in beta v 1.8.72 and we are releasing another very shortly. You can check your app version by going to Settings >> Advanced >> and then tap on Advanced (in the header) more than 7 times. Then look for the Local App Version (also next time you re ... | |||||
| RE: Tracks previously queued | 8 Relevance | 3 years ago | matt2 | App Usage | |
| The queue is the List of tracks played and upcoming. The app retains this List, as our philosophy is that the table should be playing (most of the time). So when you are choosing to play a specific single track right now, it asks if you WAnt to keep playing the next track in the List after it, or forget the old List (clear). This follows patterns seen in Music apps when changing what is currently playing. If Clear is chosen, it will stop playing after that track, until you choose more tracks to play. If you don't WAnt this WArning, I would suggest choosing " ... | |||||

| I wish tracks included a visible notation of their native start rho value. This will make it much easier to construct playlists without the fershlugginer connecting line. Maybe a simple 1 or 0 affixed to the title? As it is, the only WAy to access this info is to add a track to a playlist. | |||||

| ... to change the order of tracks being played in the current List. (basically to have a WAy to seamlessly select the next track to play without interrupting the current track and forcing a whole homing sequence). Also, this is a bug, I guess -- I have noticed that when a List is playing and I select a new track to play in that List, the track I select is skipped and the next track is played. | |||||

| There are also many place where you can navigate from a scrolled List and when you back out it is at the top of the List, not where you were when you left. Ideally it should return you to where you had been. | |||||
| RE: Delete track capability? | 4 Relevance | 5 years ago | matt2 | App Updates | |
| You can delete a track: click on the track from a playlist or the tracks List in the Library, and you will see a large preview and a List of options (Play, Favorite, etc). Scroll down if you need to, and Delete is the last option. Nice suggestion on the # of times played too. I'll see about squeezing that in the future. | |||||
| RE: Track organization. | 6 Relevance | 6 years ago | heropup | App Usage | |
| @mdolfis: By design, the WAy tracks are played, there isn't a Distinction between "center-edge" and "edge-center." Here's how it currently works, and this includes the erase pattern. If the next track to be played is "center-edge" or "edge-center," wherever the ball has ended, the table will automatically read the next track in forward or reverse order so as to not need to jump from edge to center or vice versa. So for example, if the current track ended at the edge, but the List of coordinates for the next track begins at the center and ends at the edge ... | |||||
| RE: Feature requests | 4 Relevance | 5 years ago | massrich | App Updates | |
| Agreed! I use some tracks as a base before the next track, or to plow sand back to the center, so I’m not concerned about precision on those tracks, and would use faster speeds. For more intricate patterns, slower speed with more detail is better. In addition to the ability to change the speed of individual tracks in a playlist, I’d also like the ability to select whether to pause after each track. If I ran an E10, an attach or detach, or an Apache1 in reverse to push sand into the center, I would deselect the contemplation pause after those tracks. Possibly, for the attach and detach, program it to immediately begin the next track always. When editing a playlist, and selecting the add a track option, could the new track be inserted into the playlist at the point where you are in the List? Current behavior adds the new track to the bottom of the List, then you need to drag the track into the desired position in the playlist. What function does the “favorite” button have? Can “favorited” tracks be added to the left side of the edit playlist screen so they could be inserted easily? If so, I’d recommend that the attach and detach tracks default to “favorite” for easy insertion. If this is already a feature, please accept my apology for not having tested it! Do the tracks have the ability to attach multiple images in the library? I’d appreciate seeing images of the track in standard and reversed mode (for those that can be reversed), and with multi-ball (standard and reversed). Finally, I have a suggestion for an edge-plowing track. The magnet can go outside of rho 1, as it does during the park and attach routines. Can a track be created to use the second ball to run consecutive reversing “c” patterns ending at each edge of the garage from the extreme reach of the 2nd magnet arm to clear the edges of the sand ridge back inside of the rho=1 position? Thank you! | |||||
| RE: Playlist track limit and dissapearing tracks with repeat? | 4 Relevance | 6 years ago | Bruce | App Usage | |
| The tracks that appear on the home screen are the current one (top), and those that will follow, in order below it. There is no limit (that I know of) for number of tracks in a playlist - but the "tracks coming up List" only shows a certain number. When the repeat toggle is on, the track List wraps around to the beginning of the playlist. When you toggle it off, the "wrapped around" tracks (past the end of the playlist) will Disappear, since they are no longer coming up. | |||||

| RE: Feature Request - Erase Between Tracks | 2 Relevance | 4 years ago | Bruce | App Updates | |
| This feature is still there - just a little non-intuitively placed. The "erase before track" option acts on the track level, meaning you need to set it for each track you WAnt it to affect (there is no global setting that adds it for every track). To do this, got to Library > Tracks. Scroll or search for the track you WAnt to apply this to, and hit the 3 dots to the right of it. This will bring up a List of options (like reversible, fixed orientation, etc.). Erase before track is there. Once checked, an erase will precede this track when played as a singl ... | |||||

| Update : Just Discovered that in the saved playlist, you can add and delete tracks. It has a nifty feature where you can increase/reduce the repetion of the tracks with a +/- button. For eg, you do not have to add the erase track repeatedly, instead increase the count by tapping on the ’+’ button. Solves a huge Discomfort of editing tracks. | |||||

| ... think it's a bug). At the same time, if I access these downloaded tracks, I am unable to select multiple tracks and add to a playlist. Currently, I can only add one track at a time, and after that the playlist opens automatically. I then have to go back to the tracks List and add a single track to a playlist, and it again opens the playlist... So and so forth. It's a real bother when you are dealing with a whole lot of tracks. Maybe we need a code to go along with the track name, that specifies that the track is Reversible/Non-reversible, 10,01,00 or 11. T ... | |||||
| RE: Night mode | 4 Relevance | 7 years ago | MicahR | Beta releases and bugs | |
| Hello, Bruce is correct, the table pulls time when connecting with the mobile app. The current implementation of night mode is less than ideal and will be improved as we continue develeopment. Here’s a List of caveats to keep in mind: Time is updated when connected to the mobile app. Unplugging the table will cause the clock to stop. On re-power the clock will start where it left off. You’ll need to connect with the mobile app to update the time. Connecting with a browser will not update. I have to double check with my dev on this but I’m pretty sure this is correct. If you’re using a browser on you tablet this may be why the time on your table is incorrect. When we improve this functionality it will: Update time when connected to the bb. mobile app, browser or WiFi with internet access. This means as long as the table is connected to your home WiFi it will keep accurate time even if you power cycle it. We’re working on many updates to the app so I don’t have a date of when this will improve, but it is on our List and we’re doing everything possible to expedite develeopment. Please let me know if this is helpful or it’s still not operating correctly. Micah | |||||
