| RE: Drinks on the table | 5 Relevance | 2 years ago | [email protected] | Table Usage | |
| Okay, well, if you think it’s relatively safe I’ll start using it more. Not worried about cleaning the glass, just worried about liquid wicking under the glass and dripping onto the display. In retrospect, though, I guess that’s like buying a beautiful diamond and putting it in a safe deposit box rather than wearing it- thanks for the advice! (As I said before, I DO love “her”, and even after 2+ years I alter my path through the House daily just to see what she’s up to!) 😊 | |||||

| Is there a WAy to safely remove the ballpark ? I mean, detach it from the table without causing damage underneath ? I really love my table, I mean, REALLY, but ALL my frustrations come from this ballpark. During the first week when I got the table , I've tried a couple of tracks with two balls mode and it WAs nice to see it operate. But frequently, the second ball WAs getting stock on the "main park" of the ballpark (on the right side)... Or even worse, during a Single ball track run, the second ball WAs hooked by "mistake" by the secondary arm and ruins th ... | |||||

| @kris9209 - I have no idea what the issue WAs, other than their Mini WAs not powering on. The key info from this thread is that this forum is not the place for troubleshooting table / Mini problems. We have a great support team (in-house), and take great pride in our support track record. Once again: please contact our support desk for help if your table / Mini is not working properly. | |||||
| Connection issues | 5 Relevance | 5 years ago | gliebig | App Usage | |
| I have a mini at my office and coffee table at my House. Both started having connection issues last week. Sometimes, the sisyphus hot spot doesn't show. Sometimes it connects, plays a track then I select another and it drops the connection. Sometimes it looks connected, but doesn't home and start when a track is selected. Basically, just a bunch of odd behavior. I'm updated on the latest firmware. I've, unplugged many times, hit the reset button several times. I just can't get a decent connection lately. Just seems odd that this is happening on two different networks. | |||||

| Control multiple tables on multiple wifi networks from app - Y/N? | 5 Relevance | 7 years ago | alex.b.ricardo | App Usage | |
| Hey everyone. First off, I love these tables!!!! I am fortunate to own two tables from you guys. One in my home. One in my beach House. Is there a WAy to control both tables off the same app knowing the two tables are on two different wifi networks? Or, do I need to set up the app on a separate cell phone to control the second table? Thanks!!! | |||||

| Everyone who enters my House immediately goes to my table, like zombies, while demanding to know what it is -- I tell them -- and now I can add that a 'mini' is coming soon! I love this idea and will be purchasing two at least - gifts for the younger brothers. Can't WAit!! | |||||

| I'm interested in doing this as well, let me know if you have had success. I WAsn't sure if the power requirements would match up between the existing LEDs and the Hue system. I have several Hue lights throughout my House and this would be a great addition to the existing room lights to match up. | |||||

| Parking hits the spot! I have decided that this will be a truly mixed materials project. After a while thinking of a good WAy to make the acrylic sides of the drawing area with nice even bends, I thought it would be a good time to explore different materials. Aluminum angle would be easy to snip and bend every 5° or so, but it would be a pain to isolate the LEDs from it. I found some PVC edge trim at the local hardware store that is 1-1/8" tall. A bit shorter than I WAnted, but it will work out. I took my parking "valet" with me, and lo and behold, it fits ... | |||||

We added one of those to a recliner that we didn't WAnt a cord running to, and it only needs to be charged once every few weeks. But it's as big as a kid's shoe. There is room under the Sisyphus, so it might be possible. The transformer puts out 12VDC (at 4A). Also note that the upcoming Sisyphus Mini will have a rechargeable battery option. 2. | Connects to wifi, lights for a moment at start then nothing. | 4 Relevance | 5 years ago | burningamd | Table Usage | |
| This happens a lot on power loss. The table just stops working and I have to hard reset it. I'm looking for an alternate, easier solution. So when I power it up there's a quick spin of blue light from the RGB, the red light is on and the Green light is flashing periodically on the board. I can see the table connected to my access point but going to its IP it wont communicate. Other than that the LEDs stay off and there's no ball movement. The only WAy I have found in the past to get it working again is a hard reset. | |||||

| After using WinTopo (Free) for a couple of tracks, all of a sudden, it WAnts me to pay. Why? Number of images vectorized (this would be the 3rd)? Size of image (I started large, but even at 300x300 it is complaining)? I noticed that I now have blue lines in my vectorization, instead of only Green ones. Is that significant? Thanks for any help. | |||||
| RE: Cannot connect to Sisyphus wifi, fails to find ip | 4 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Connectivity | |
| @mzats - Just discussed your issue during our weekly support meeting. Couple questions: Despite being unable to connect, is the table running? Do you have RGBW lighting? If yes, then you definitely have a reset button - on the small "piggyback" circuit board attached to the Raspberry Pi (green circuit board). If no reset button, we suspect your firmware is corrupted - the fix being either re-imaging your SD card, or if you prefer, we will send out replacement. Here are the directions for re-imaging the card. Or please contact our support desk if you prefer the SD card to be sent out. | |||||

| Here are the instructions:While powered up, hold the button on the Raspberry Pi "hat" (small piggy-back board on the Green circuit board) for ~5 sec. After releasing, it should reboot and the hotspot be reachable. Once connected to your WiFi, you can then update. Let me know if this doesn't work. And here is the guide for doing the reset. | |||||
| RE: Cannot connect to Sisyphus wifi, fails to find ip | 4 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Connectivity | |
| @finntoogood Hot off the press: The bug causing this has been fixed in the most recent firmware update - which doesn't help in your situation. However, you should be able to fix the "zombie hotspot" by resetting your Sisbot. To do this, while powered up, hold the button on the Raspberry Pi "hat" (small piggy-back board on the Green circuit board) for ~5 sec. After releasing, it should reboot and the hotspot be reachable. Once connected to your WiFi, you can then update. Let me know if this doesn't work. | |||||

| Hello and thanks for sharing this tip. I have just received my Mini Executive and found exact similar issue. I am going to test this possible fix now and let you know UPDATE: this is indeed fixing this IP issue. I WAs not able to connect at the first reboot. For some reason, once connected to the hotspot, when trying to connect to my Internet it did not find my router at the beginning. I had to reboot once again and forget all previous connections to then be able to reconnect to the hotspot and find my router in a list. | |||||

| This just in from our developer, Matt: My first guess is that he already has his own tracks downloaded. The default filters show only tracks you have not yet downloaded. If he goes to the hamburger icon (three lines) and switches the filter to "All Tracks", does that show his own again? Tracks you've already downloaded will have the Green checkmark next to them. | Apostrophe in table name prevents connecting? | 4 Relevance | 7 years ago | RetiredGuy | Connectivity | |
| I have had my table for 4 days and it has been working fine. I have been able to connect both through the iOS app and through Chrome on my Mac. I recently renamed my table from “Sisyphus” to “Doug’s Sisyphus” and have been unable to communicate with it since. I have tried powering down my network and then the Sisyphus network appears on both the iPhone and Mac, but neither the iOS app or the browser can find the table. I have reseated all of the cables. The power supply has a steady blue light. The red light on Raspberry Pi board is on steady. The Green LEDs on the Light Board are as follows: 12v solid; 3.3v solid; first USB blinking; second USB off. What should I try next? | |||||
