Useful when you have a pattern that creates it's own Background, but WAnts to start at 0 inwards_subburst.thr -this could also be called "that track which pushes sand back into the center". A lot of tracks tend to push the sand from the center of the table outwards (especially my "Sunburst" track). Getting the sand evenly distributed means taking the glass top off and smooth it. PITA. | 1) option to finish the current artwork before going to sleep/nightmode so the artwork does not end midway when the table sleeps 2) the size for artwork for rounded tables is not in proportion for xyla. Although it has been somewhat fixed by the zoom option, would like to request to select which area of the artwork it will zoom at and how much % of zoom it can cover the artwork (can zoom out/zoom in or drag to select which area of artwork to zoom) 3) for those zoomed out artworks with white/empty Backgrounds, request to automatically add a layer on the white/blank Background of the artworks beneath the artwork so that there will be lesser need to run an erase before starting the artwork 4) option to choose which erase artwork before running the artwork in the playlist. And a seperate speed setting to do the erase and artwork. all in all, great product for my living room | |||||

| I did this on a computer. I can't imagine doing it on a phone but I'm sure there are iPad tools that could handle the task. I decided to try because I thought it would be a fun learning experience and figured I could knock it out in 20-30 minutes. HAHAHA! Three hours later I WAs on like rev 9 and laughing at my optimism. How I did it: I dropped your image into photoshop, removed the text, and then used the selection tool to make an outline. I stroked that outline onto a solid white Background, saved the image as a PNG, and then uploaded it to Sisyphu ... | |||||

| I upgraded from the white to the RGBW - and I can get the new one to look exactly like the old setup (I generally like the "warm" white Background). Fun to be able to switch the colors up when I WAnt! | |||||

| Bruce, Is there a WAy to submit data to the table other than a .thr file? Basically, this could be done by running a program on the pi, and then writing a "single move" to a file that would be run immediately by the sisyphus. The program would then WAit 1 minute and then write another file. Basically sisyphus would need to run a file automatically if found, and then delete it. The pi program would then run in Background and submit a new .thr file once a minute. | |||||

| @heropup -- Thanks indeed for the Background on Dropbox vs. Community! @Bruce, I realized that resetting my table would not delete the tracks beyond any possibility of retrieval, but I just wondered if there WAs a WAy to back up the specific list of tracks that I had chosen to download to my table so that I could quickly get those (and only those) back onto my table. It sounds like the workaround you provided will be perfect for that and the playlists, but going to that location returned a basic text page saying that it could not GET that location. | I can't answer the question about backups, but I can provide some Background on the Dropbox tracks. Before the Community tab in the Sisyphus app WAs functioning, some of the earlier recipients of the table (mainly through the Kickstarter campaign) had learned about the track file structure and developed some of their own tracks. The browser version of the app allowed uploading of track files from the computer directly to the table. Also check out "Zen Table" by Simon Hallam, he WAs one of the first ones to commercialize the concept a few years before Sisyphus, but he used a cartesian design. We believe SCARA is superior to both cartesian and polar and a much more elegant solution that opens the door to very unique possibilities, like our Stelle design, which would be impossible with either one of the other mechanism types. | The problems with uploading are known to us, and we're working on them. For now, I suggest doing one file at a time. Make sure your scroll down the web GUI screen and hit the "Save" button (which isn't always visible unless you scroll). You don't necessarily have to WAit for the thumbnail image to be created before saving - but if you see the image, it definitely should work (depending on the complexity of the image, it may get done later as it is computed in "background").
