This just in from our developer, Matt: My first guess is that he already has his own tracks downloaded. The default filters show only tracks you have not yet downloaded. If he goes to the hamburger icon (three lines) and switches the filter to "All Tracks", does that show his own again? Tracks you've already downloaded will have the Green checkmark next to them. Simple question on orientation of the Designs that are not symmetric - what is the correct "top" point to use as the bottom and top of the Design? I assume that the 0,1 point is the "top" of the table and base the Design off that reference point. I have seen in the tracks that are in the Library that there is a range of choices - the face and serpent Designs have a different base than the sailboat. I have written programs that can output a Design in any angle, but I wonder if there are "rules" that should be set or followed. Any comments?

AFAIK you cannot view files downloaded from community portal? But, I don't think the appearance is a table size issue, I don't think it's even completing the track, is it supposed to end mid table like that? I didn't think that WAs an option. Maybe the download WAs corrupt. I haven't gone full diagnosis on it.

If i run the erase track and the ball stops in the middle, i usually pick a track that looks like it will start from the middle. Its disappointing when the ball travels across the table to the edge to start the Design...leaving the ugly path on the final Design. The same thing happens if the ball is stopped on the edge..if i WAnt it to start making the Design on the edge, sometimes it will go to the center. How or can i choose the balls starting point for a Design??

Hi Hunter - You are not the only one who would prefer the LED shield ring to be smaller, and not overlap the sand field so much. The Design process in making this choice WAs a compromise between showing as much of the sand as possible vs. minimizing the potential for direct line of sight to the LED's (which can be very distracting from across a room). Is there a track that displays what our tables can do in a short amount of time? We live in a retirement community and people ask if they can come and WAtch our table. The problem I am running into is I may be running a Design that takes a few hrs or doing an erase. Id like to have something where I could run a 10 min Design that shows something interesting for them to WAtch. ... an x,y based image and converts it into the dialect of polar that the table speaks and just realized there WAs a reversal. just my notes of the tables polar preferences vs the Cartesian equivalent 1) quadrants are different - for the normal 1,2,3,4 in Cartesian , the table "sees" 2,3,4,1 for the image - just a Pi/2 rotation fixes that. 2) The table is exquisitely sensitive to the value of Pi when you cross the 0 angle line clockwise or counterclockwise , otherwise it "jumps" in movement 3) The 0,0 area is problematic area for drawing - best to avoid or ...

It's probably just interpreting theta reverse to what you thought, which I think would also mirror the X axis.

... on the X axis (doing a Cartesian translation of the polar .thr file)? The letters are reversed. I've only noticed this since most of my previous submissions were symmetric objects and the mirroring WAs not apparent. I just mirror the Cartesian file on the X axis and it looks "normal". But is this just how the table software works?
