| Table started purring like a cat today... | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | finntoogood | Table Usage | |
| Hey guys, When my table turned on this morning it started making noise like a snoring cat (think dragging a finger down a Whiteboard but every 10 seconds for about 5 seconds), I have already taken it apart and cleaned the underside and the arms but this did not help. Would a change in humidity have caused this? I thought the White pieces were solid plastic | |||||
| RE: Mini LED add | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Table Customization | |
| Yes, it should be possible to add a string of single-color LED's (presumably White, but doesn't matter). The key is they need to be rated for 12VDC. The 2-wire connector we use is not the "standard" one that you'll find on strips from Amazon. If you need help connecting the lights to the Sisbot board, drop a request with our support staff, who can guide you through it. As long as you don't short the two wires, you can't cause any harm. | |||||

| Hello Sisyphus Community! I recently WAs lucky enough to acquire a metal Sisyphus side table second hand from someone who used to work for the company. I've really been enjoying exploring how the table and interface work. However, the table has a few issues that I'm hoping someone could help me troubleshoot to get it working properly. The first issue is that both of the White/RGB light strips aren't working properly under normal operating conditions. The linked picture shows how the lights typically look when the table is running: At first I thought it w ... | |||||

This setting is per-track, so if you turn it on for "Sailboat", every time that track plays, it will run an erasing movement right before it. The currently playing name will be "Sailboat", it does not say "Erase" during those movements. It also plays the erase movement at a faster speed than the regular track movements. The Queue is a new WAy that the Sisyphus manages the upcoming tracks. It is a single list ... | |||||
| Magnet shaving bottom of table | 3 Relevance | 5 years ago | jay14837 | Table Usage | |
| So the second magnet that usually moves on the outside that is attached to a clear or White arm. It’s shaving the bottom of my Table as it moves, after just a minute a good amount of dust builds up and I need to blow it off. It’s like wood dust. It also makes a loud grinding sound. This can’t be normal. Video attached. Attachment : trim.A84E7F36-3B8C-40CC-A7D4-608D17CEC2DA.MOV | |||||
| RE: Color lights / 2 Ball retrofit kits? | 3 Relevance | 6 years ago | bryshome | Table Customization | |
| Bruce- I just WAnted to provide a review of the retrofit RGBW 2 ball kit to our 36in coffee table. It is an amazing upgrade! The actual process went fine and I WAs able to do it without flipping the table (and the dreaded sand removal). While the lights are nice to play with, my wife and I still like the clean WArm White light most of time. The kicker is the 2 ball unexpected changes to our favorite tracks making them even more interesting to WAtch unfold. The tail ball sometimes starts out appearing to ruin the design, but by the time they switch positions ... | |||||

| ... is higher than the black finish of our regular rings. Though your pics show a difference, I would call it fairly subtle. On the small number of large scale installations I've done (3m in diameter), I made the LED shade ring from multiple pieces of wood that interlock around the entire 30+ feet of circumference, and painted the under-side White to increase the illumination. It's a long WAy to the center of those monsters! | |||||

| I have a lot of stainless steel furniture in my loft so when the limited edition stainless side table became available I impulse bought it, rolled my eyes at myself, and then sold my black metal side table to a friend. As one does. Every time I WAlked past the new table I found myself thinking, "Wow, the lights are really bright!" I wondered if there were different LEDs on the table but then I realized that the stainless steel ring is far more reflective than the black one WAs. WAs that the difference? | I'll be adding to it, I've only had for 2 days. I believe people can add to that album if they go through the link. If they do, try to keep it consistent on framing and using a neutral White (definitely don't use RGB) followed by screenshot of track. | |||||

| Just received the table today - the White glove delivery WAs impressive and went well. I've got the table going and of course tried to upload some of the great tracks from other users. I am sometimes able to upload a few tracks, but then subsequent upload attempts usually do nothing from the Upload Track screen. Sometimes I get timeout errors, but usually nothing. Anything I can do to supply diagnostics or otherwise help debug? Thanks. | |||||

Eventually i had the belt disconnected from the theta motor and it still kept stalling. It makes sense that it WAs the theta motor stalling, as the ball would just move slowly outwards while the theta motor WAs stalled and the rho motor i guess WAs attempting to match the rotation it assumed the theta motor WAs doing to keep rho constant/moving at the correct speed for the pattern. I decided to try because I thought it would be a fun learning experience and figured I could knock it out in 20-30 minutes. HAHAHA! Three hours later I WAs on like rev 9 and laughing at my optimism. How I did it: I dropped your image into photoshop, removed the text, and then used the selection tool to make an outline.
