| Removing a track from the Queue will be added in the next app release. It should not require a table update. Speed Per track is interesting, I will add it to my list of requests. How would you imagine it handle if the playlist is shuffled? | |||||

| Someone please help. I've been having trouble with my table so I took out the SD card and reimaged Per instructions on here. The table turns on and the lights flash twice as normal but I have no control of the lights otherwise no matter what I try; they wont come on. Also, sometimes the table picks up the ball and others it doesn't and plays as if the ball were moving. I'm so frustrated I just WAnt the table to work. I have the coffee table by the WAy, the metal one. | |||||

| In fact, since the ball Park appears to be a 2-car garage, you could potentially have 3 balls available, with 1 or 2 active at a time (I guess that's 9 combinations? A, B, C, A+B, B+A, A+C, C+A, B+C, and C+B). In addition to ball size, ball color could be cool (I'd love to see dark gray or black myself). To get truly crazy one could add a few more ball Parks at the other 3 cardinal directions and have up to 8 Parked balls. I put few "Attach" and "Detach" in my Default Playlist which is shuffled, so sometimes the table is single ball and sometimes it's dual ball. But some tracks don't look great in single ball, so it will be nice when this is better than just random chance (and instead based on the track flag). | |||||

| That "shouldn't" happen (tracks are automatically scaled to the radius of the sand-field) - but - Murphy (as in his Law), is always at play. We're still working on making 2-ball mode more robust. Anything that causes either ball to become unattached from its magnet, may lead to two balls on one magnet. The two causes of ball-cleaving are crossing a sand mound that's too deep, and a ball hitting the ball Park (not during attach / detach track). The latter means Sisyphus is out of position. Position errors can add up when running at higher speeds. Like I said - we're working on it. Now that many more Sisyphi are 2-ball enabled, we will have far more feedback to help us figure it out. | |||||

| ... second magnet will pick up the tail ball in the "ball-park" and bring it out into play. Every track after that will run in 2-ball mode. To go back to 1-ball, just run "detach" as a single, or put it in your playlist to automate it. Usually, if you create playlists that have detach and attach in them, you will WAnt to run the sequentially (not shuffled). All tracks "run" in 1- or 2-ball mode. But usually, stuff that is recognizable (drawings of things, text, logos, etc) doesn't look good turned inside out :). Algorithmic stuff, on the other hand, can look g ... | |||||

| Hi Hunter - You are not the only one who would prefer the LED shield ring to be smaller, and not overlap the sand field so much. The design process in making this choice WAs a compromise between showing as much of the sand as possible vs. minimizing the potential for direct line of sight to the LED's (which can be very distracting from across a room). This is very angle dependent - not a factor when looking straight down on the table, but is while seated 3+ Meters away - especially with the end table version, since it's LEDs are significantly higher than t ... | |||||

| Great update, I appreciate that it makes the overall player UI a bit more intuitive. I couldn't see one either. I could only see the option to delete the track entirely? It would be great if we could simply remove one from "up next" to clean up the queue. The new option isn't to "run Erase before every track," it's a checkbox that can applied on a Per-track basis. Which is helpful for the designs on some tracks, which look best against an erased backdrop, like words, or drawings, of faces or objects, etc. I'm very glad to see this added, as previously we'd have to manually insert an "Erase" track beforehand in order to achieve the same. That would be super cool and very much appreciated too. | |||||

| Hi. Just bought and installed the table. Looks and works great. However - when the table is plugged in - the entire home wifi has major issues (slow to no connectivity with iMacs, iPhones, etc). Current home setup: Arris SB8200 Router Comcast/Xfinity internet service 1GB Per second Eero home wifi pods plugged into entire home Since the home wifi starts to crash when I use the table - I had to unplug the table - and reset the router.. Everything works like it should but whenever I plug in the sisyphus table - the home wifi starts to crash again. PLEASE HELP!!!! | |||||

| We have a variable pause time for "pause between tracks" coming soon. It will ignore erase and at/detach tracks. Allowing Per-track speed settings is also being considered. Thanks for the suggestions and feedback! | |||||

| @heropup - Analog would be the WAy I'd go. I've thought about this in the past - like the ball circles the table at some distance from the center, and "ticks" out or in once Per rev, incrementing the ticks in Theta. The fresh "minute line" would be the minutes hand. And I guess on the hour it could draw a Rho line of different length or direction? Wouldn't look like an "ordinary" clock though! | |||||

| ... stay on the selected timezone even if your phone or browser timezone does not match. Erase Before Playing is an option on each individual Track page. This setting is Per-track, so if you turn it on for "Sailboat", every time that track plays, it will run an erasing movement right before it. The currently playing name will be "Sailboat", it does not say "Erase" during those movements. It also plays the erase movement at a faster speed than the regular track movements. The Queue is a new WAy that the Sisyphus manages the upcoming tracks. It is a single list ... | |||||

The last I read WAs that youse guys had a good design, created the molds, and had a working product this >< close to market. That WAs last summer. There you have it. | Hi Micah, Thanks for the response and commitment to working towards a resolution. One thing that occurred to me after I made that post is that the only change I made to how I used the table shortly before observing this issue is that in addition to having the "Pause between tracks" option enabled, as I often do, I enabled the "Restart after 15 minutes" option as well, which I had never done. The table seemed to work fine with that for a few days, if memory serves, and then I started having these issues. Thinking that might be the culprit, I disabled that option, but the issues Persisted once or twice Per day. So then I also disabled "Pause between tracks", which is how I'm running now. And for the moment, things seem to be ok, although since the issue only seemed to happen at the end of tracks and many of the tracks I run tend to take 4-10 hours to play, my sample size isn't very large yet. But if the issue reappears, I'll report back with logs. If on the other hand the table continues to behave, I may try enabling those pause and restart options again in an attempt to reproduce the issue and write a solid problem report. But in the immediate term, I think I'm going to spend some time just enjoying the table working normally rather than debugging it. Looking forward to an upcoming firmware update that will offer a graceful shutdown and apparently offer more built-in resilience to unexpected outages. On that subject, adding a UPS isn't really in the cards for me. It wouldn't work well in the space where my table is located, and frankly it's just not something I'd consider for a non-critical item in my home as a workaround to an issue that really shouldn't exist anyway. Electronic devices I have that are far more complex manage to have a very high probability of recovering properly after an unexpected outage, so I don't see why that shouldn't be possible for this table. | Now serving! I aim to use these two servos to control dual sided ball Parks. One Per side of the table for a total of 4 ball locations. If I can get the balls out of the play area, I should be able to have more room for cleanup tracks that go outside Rho 1. Tomorrow is testing day for the servos and optical end stop limit switches. | Sorry for this hassle (and thanks Juggler!) - this will all be a whole lot easier once we get our sh*t together and have time to organize a decent repo in one spot on our site. In the interim - the easiest thing to do is follow Thejuggler's directions for downloading a zip file of the whole repo (don't worry - it ain't that big). Then browse it and you will rapidly find the thr files. Once you extract them you can delete the zip. Those files should be golden (open them and you should see a long list of lovely numbers (two Per line)). Notice that the first Rho is 0 or 1, as is the last. Feed these files to your Sis. | |||||

| I'd love to be able to play several tracks in a row, then have the table pause after a particular track, before continuing on. An example usage of this would be to attach the second ball, do a "clean" pattern, draw the desired pattern, then WAit. For tracks ending at the center, I could create a track that stayed at rho=0 while theta did a hundred revs or so, but doesn't work as well if the ball is at rho=1. | I added a second option to the custom text generator that I wrote that can output 2 lines of circular text on the table or the previous 3 straight lines of cursive text, plus some punctuation too. Interface is cleaned up too, all you need to run it is to download MS Small Basic v 1.2 and load it from there. | ... files. At this point I choose the file to download "thr" file. I click download and the black dots spin around and around. The first time I did this, the track did download. Ever since then, I try to download other tracks and I get the error message "could not make request". I guess I could put my number here and maybe someone with WAy more smarts than me could call and help WAlk me through it? PS. | Updates: I got my Life Z extension strip and it popped in very easily. You can only trim the strips between every 6th light, but it just so happens that it fits PerFECTLY in the 36" table by cutting off just the last two sets of 6. I am going to attach some pictures as promised. I think I can only attache one file Per post, so this will be a short collection of posts.
