| RE: Twin Peaks Layered Table Art | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | Community Tracks | |
| Nice track! The WAy you share (or just store) the tracks you create is in on WebCenter - . Create an account (it is not the same as the account you have on our web site). You can then upload as many tracks as you like. You have complete control over whether you make a track public or not. If you share it, the content goes through a quick approval (just a check to make sure it does not conflict with our terms of Service - things like hate speech, obscenity, etc.), and then is made available for others on our Community. | |||||

| Hi. Just bought and installed the table. Looks and works great. However - when the table is plugged in - the entire home wifi has major issues (slow to no connectivity with iMacs, iPhones, etc). Current home setup: Arris SB8200 Router Comcast/Xfinity internet Service 1GB per second Eero home wifi pods plugged into entire home Since the home wifi starts to crash when I use the table - I had to unplug the table - and reset the router.. Everything works like it should but whenever I plug in the sisyphus table - the home wifi starts to crash again. PLEASE HELP!!!! | |||||
| RE: One vs Two balls on 3' wooden table | 2 Relevance | 8 years ago | heropup | Table Usage | |
| Somewhat off topic, so apologies in advance. Would there eventually be an option to upgrade the Metal tables with two-ball support? The lack of a "garage" for the second ball is certainly an issue, but I can think of some WAys this could potentially be addressed... In somewhat related news, out of curiosity, I wrote a primitive program that would convert existing tracks into a track that would show what the path of the ball would look like if it were attached to the opposite end of the arm--that is to say, what the second ball would draw in isolation. | ... support) shouldn't (we hope) cause any bad effects on the Metal tables' functioning. But one thing you can see is a major change in homing. On boot up all tables do a "sensored home", moving each axis slowly toward a sensor (theta first then rho second) - which is unchanged. From then on the table "knows" where home is. Now, whenever you manually choose a different playlist or single track to play, it homes by "dead-reckoning" - moving both axes simultaneously, directly home (no need to "feel" its WAy). The practical effect is that, when you choose differ ... | |||||

Also, due to the corrupt file, I do not know the "current" firmware that WAs/is in the corrupt card. Not sure if Siyphus has any issues with large jumps in firmware, please let me know if I need to update prior firmwares first before the most current. Not sure if that is an issue in your company. 🙂 Thank you. Suzanne | |||||
| RE: Sandify to Sisyphus App ?Best Ragrdas | 2 Relevance | 5 years ago | Bruce | App Usage | |
| To do it locally (just on your computer and Sis): Create your track in Sandify. Under "Machine" tab, choose Polar, and the start and endpoint (must be center or perimeter). Hit the Export button - choose Theta Rho format, give it a name, don't add start or end code - hit download. Connect the computer you downloaded the track to, to your Sis using a web browser. From the Sis app running on your browser, go to Settings / Advanced / Upload file(s). Upload file to your table, and be sure to hit "save" once you see the thumbnail of the track show up. To share a track publicly on our "Community" repo - create an account on Webcenter. From there you can upload your tracks, choose whether each is public or not. All public tracks are vetted by our staff to assure they do not violate our terms of Service (nothing overtly offensive, etc...). Once approved, shared tracks will be available using the Community tab on our app. | |||||
| RE: New table stuck on "HOMING YOUR TABLE" | 2 Relevance | 6 years ago | Bev | Table Usage | |
| Hi Ben, Sorry to hear your new table isn't working properly. It sounds like there is a problem with the home sensor (when the table boots up, the first thing it does is find "home" - first the rotation axis, then the linear). Since you can see the arm rotating, the motor is working - but the sensor is not responding when a tiny "target magnet" passes by it. Try this: Unplug the table. Look under and find the "SisBotBoard" (square circuit board). Check the connectors attached to it by tugging gently - especially the ones with 2 white and 1 black wire (these go to the Theta and Rho sensors). Even if they're not loose, reseat them by depressing the tiny plastic latch and pulling. Then reconnect by pushing in until you hear / feel a click. Neither pulling out or pushing in should require much force. Then try repowering the table. Fingers crossed... Bruce ps- if this doesn't work, follow the 3-wire cables to the two sensors and see if there is anything obvious (they should be firmly glued in place on the plate that holds the motors). Please contact our Service desk if these directions don't work). | |||||
| RE: Trouble maintaining connection to table from Safari | 2 Relevance | 8 years ago | Bruce | Connectivity | |
| Hey Jessica - sorry- I missed your prior post. This sounds like a problem with Bonjour (a Service Apple created that converts alias names to their local IP address). I've alerted our devs and we're trying to figure out a WAy to make it more robust. I the mean time, using the IP address will work (which you've figured out). Bruce | |||||
| Option to reverse RGBW color rho? | 2 Relevance | 6 years ago | belross | App Updates | |
| Hi, I love my 36" coffee table. A while back I upgraded the lights with RGBW NeoPixels and an Arduino and it WAs even more amazing. I WAs happy when the retrofit kits came out, so I ordered one. A customer Service rep WAs kind enough to discount the kit by leaving the LEDs out (since I already had that) so I only upgraded with the light control board. The NeoPixels work perfectly with the Sisyphus control board, but unfortunately I must have gotten something mixed up when I originally swapped out the lights - colors modes with a rho follow are inverted! We changed it due to security concerns(we don't WAnt hackers messing with your table!). You can use your table's name (a.k.a. alias, like "sisyphus") as the hostname, but you have to add ".local" - e.g. Host: sisyphus.local. If that doesn't work, you can find the actual IP address by using either your phone app or browser interface / Settings / Advanced / IP address is displayed next to "Sisyphus IP Address". ... | |||||
