| Thanks again @dithermaster - another excellent outlining of the current state of things. From memory, I know you can put comments at the start of the track - just use the '#' character at the start of the line. I also comments can be placed among the list of vertices, but not 100% sure without testing it. We do plan to allow track speed to be changed and stipulated in a playlist - and eventually, I hope to have it as part of the thr file itself, akin to the 'F' parameter in a line of G-code, which changes the feedrate. | |||||

| "Erase" just has two points (radius goes from 0.0 to 1.0 and theta goes around like 100 times). But the speed isn't because of the point count. There is special code in the Sisyphus program that "knows" about erase and runs it faster. Bruce has talked about adding the ability for other tracks to do the same but it's not in current software. | |||||

I chose to start with this limitation so that tracks could easily be linked together without distracting traces connecting a new track's start to the last track's end. Therefore, there are four track "flavors": 00, 01, 10, 11. | Your experience sounds very similar to mine, which you can read about in this thread: I believe the responsibility is on FedEx to use proper handling procedures. A shipment that weighs nearly 100 pounds and has a label on it that says two people are needed to lift it, should not be carted over uneven pavement by a single employee and rolled corner over corner, which is what happened to me. FedEx is being paid for this service and such practices, in my opinion, are not compliant. That said, modification to the package design could help reduce problems caused by rough handling. I suspect that the cardboard insert placed underneath the table could push against the metal support arms that hold the Sisbot, if the side of the box were pressed in. If this insert were altered (for example, modifying the profile so that part of it sits under the outer edge of the table), then it would provide more resistance to being pushed into these supports. | |||||

| Following on from playing around with the flic buttons to control my sisyphus table via a home automation hub, I use home assistant at home so I have set it up to control my sisyphus, Current setup is When an erase track starts set speed to 100%When erase track finishes set back to 30%When I leave home pause the tableWhen I return Resume the table.You can also adjust the Speed and brightness of Sisyphus in home assistant with slide bars and Pause / Unpause etc with clickable scripts.If there is interest I can publish my whole config to Github for users, but to test you can add the following to your Home assistant configs to test Sisyphus if you do config.yaml, groups.yaml and scripts.yaml first you can see the status of Sisyphus without worrying about making the automation work (As it depends on having presence detection setup) Ill Attach 1 file to each post (If you just use configuration.yaml) you will be able to see the Status of Sisyphus in the top header of home assistant.
