1) option to finish the current artwork before going to sleep/nightmode so the artwork does not end midway when the table sleeps 2) the size for artwork for rounded tables is not in proportion for xyla. Although it has been somewhat fixed by the zoom option, would like to request to select which area of the artwork it will zoom at and how much % of zoom it can cover the artwork (can zoom out/zoom in or drag to select which area of artwork to zoom) 3) for those zoomed out artworks with White/empty backgrounds, request to automatically add a layer on the White/blank background of the artworks beneath the artwork so that there will be lesser need to run an erase before starting the artwork 4) option to choose which erase artwork before running the artwork in the playlist. And a seperate speed setting to do the erase and artwork. all in all, great product for my living room

... a cheap square one myself. it has a 1m x 1m size (80cmx80cm viewable sand).I will send you the images of the machine when it is finished. I used a 6mm mirror plate as the sand support surface and used fine baking soda as sand but I have 1. noise when the ball (16mm) is rolling and 2. the ball movement is not as smooth as the ones in the Sisyphus Table Trailers. In search for a solution I found this forum and this post. So I WAnt to kindly ask if it is possible for you to tell me what is used as sand support surface and what type of sand (exact size, shape ...

This started happening to my new table this AM. Followed Bruce's guidance above, traced the cable and unnplugged / replugged and it seemed to fix the issue.

This is an interesting suggestion. I will pass it along to our dev team and see what they say in terms of difficulty (or not) to implement.

... But WArranty is 1 year for everything except wood tables - which is 2 years. I would suggest checking the 2-wire cable which connects the LED string to the SisBotBoard under the table. If you follow it back (from the LEDs to the SBB) you will find a connection near the LED string and another where it attaches to the SBB. Try disconnecting and reconnecting them. If that doesn't help, please start a support ticket at the above email address. We'll get it fixed ASAP.

I’ve seen some high-end art gallery pendulums over the years which use an ultra-fine (almost dust-like) glass sand bead for higher resolution images and less friction for the swinging pendulum movement. The sand that appears to come with Sisyphus is coarser, almost like a grade above play-sand, but not to the grade I recall seeing in some of these gallery-caliber pendulums. Has anyone upgraded their table with a finer grade of sand? Any concerns about trying a finer grade of sand? One I’m looking at is this one.

Thanks very much for posting your findings! Super interesting. As for the iron contamination - you can use the ball itself to collect it - when it has grown iron filing "sideburns", gently dab them with a wet paper towel to coax the filings off the ball while it is couple to the magnet (or the filings will drop off into the sand). Repeat this cycle of running / iron dabbing until the iron is gone. The increased detail is pretty amazing - but for me, the cost is too high in aesthetic terms of it not looking like sand dunes. This fits with my current understanding that there is a physical limit to how small the particles can be, beyond which they no longer behave like sand.

Hey guys, When my table turned on this morning it started making noise like a snoring cat (think dragging a finger down a Whiteboard but every 10 seconds for about 5 seconds), I have already taken it apart and cleaned the underside and the arms but this did not help. Would a change in humidity have caused this? I thought the White pieces were solid plastic
