Again -- the only caveat is that if there is a spill, you don't leave it for a long time (perhaps allowing it to run over the edge which is more a problem for the carpet beneath the table than getting onto the sand). As long as a spill is not unattended (like a leak from a WAter-filled flower vase), clean up is quick and easy and not a risk to the table. | @rick-yeh This is definitely not normal function -- I will alert our support team, but also, please start a ticket so we can keep track of it: follow up: Support is already working with you (they suspect the dust is from the cardboard WAffle-board padding which we cut to size in our Shop) and have relayed instructions for removing it and inspecting the low-friction pad on the magnet for signs of wear or foreign material. | ... this configuration -- so either this is a DIY change made by the prior owner, or it WAs a beta table of one of our employees, from early trials of colored lighting in our Shop. We can't provide a quick diagnosis or fix without further info. 2 - from your picture, your coffee table "thinks" it's an end table (smaller field). This should be easy to fix by changing the table's configuration. First, make sure your table is running the latest firmware by doing a firmware update (in settings). | @Patti - I get it - I don't WAnt things I like to change either, particularly with the Sisyphi in my home. Let me talk with the Shop guys. If the stainless ring is the same size (almost certain it is), we can ship you out a black ring for you to go back to. You could also try stacking them, but pretty sure it will be too high for the glass to sit properly. We also might be able to laser cut something thin and opaque. Will get back to you... | |||||

| We haven't forgotten this - just taking a while. But the a new addition to our Shop tools is on its WAy - a vacuum former. This will enable us to create custom protective bottoms soon. | |||||

| I've used both Neopixels and Dotstars. I like that Dotstars don't flicker as much (their PWM frequency is much higher), but at the time, the "+W" WAs only available in Neopixels. I'll have to check if that's changed. In terms of next steps, I'll do some prototyping and share my work with you. It's a "hobby time" project, like creating paths WAs, so might move in fits and starts. But my lovely wife just helped me clean up my Shop and office and maybe now I can get more things done. | |||||
