| ... for the coffee table, (and Of Course love Sisy) but I’m still struggling with figuring out the Online pieces. So, what does “connections” mean, and what does it do? And really, some tracks run 2.5 DAYS at half-speed, or am I doing something wrong? What the heck does the microphone mean? Being old, I hesitate to push buttons when I’m unsure of the result. (Did that once in my niece’s bathroom…. let’s just say it WAs too fancy for me.). I could keep going, but truly think I’m just missing some manual or website connection that explains all the details ... | |||||

| I have a few images by Tyler foust that would be awesome to convert but the desktop and Online ones both fail to correctly convert them. it would be awesome to find these on the community tab one day! kiwi fish octopus | |||||

| Bruce, thank you so much for your assistance I love this machine. I seen this years ago and always WAnted one. I WAs looking on Touch of Modern and look there it WAs. So I went Online and purchased it. This is a beautiful product very relaxing and entertaining at the same time. Looking forward to hearing more about the arrangements and please let me know what I need to do on my end. Again thank you for your assistance and in resolving my issue. | I just published a release that now exports patterns as Theta-Rho .thr files. Online at Be sure to select "Polar" for the Format at the top of the page. If anyone is up for testing it out or providing feedback I'd be happy to hear it. | |||||

| David, The path taken by the ball between points is a linear interpolation in polar coordinates. Which generally means an arc of some kind. So if your intention is a straight line, you'll need to use many points. In my path generation code, I subdivide lines until they are "small enough" (a balance between noticeable and large file sizes). The "default" paths ("factory" paths) were all created by artist Bruce Shapiro over the many years he has been making custom Sisyphus tables. The "community" tracks have been made by many folks (including me). Welcome to the group; I look forward to seeing what you make! All of the outside contributions are using custom code. Some folks have put their code Online (e.g., Some just share the results. | |||||

| What other folks have done is to post their tracks Online, and then give Sisyphus Industries permission to mirror them in their read-only dropbox (for example, mine are at I don't know much about the "Reddit area" but maybe it could work as well. Someday the "Community" functionality will work as sharing will be easier for both the creators and the consumers. | |||||

| Good Morning,I am new to this and believe that my girlfriend has somehow frozen up her table.
