@bruce, are you referring to losing steps?Is this specific to the motor which does the linear movement? I just had another track go bad, it WAs heavy on movements reversing the linear motor (dougo-spiral2rev). The whole track is filled with linear reversals but it has a problem with one specific portion of the track. If played from the inside it doesn't have a problem and gets to the outside with the ball in bounds, but then it starts moving back in and the ball quickly goes out of bounds. Thanks again @dithermaster - another excellent outlining of the current state of things. From Memory, I know you can put comments at the start of the track - just use the '#' character at the start of the line. I also comments can be placed among the list of vertices, but not 100% sure without Testing it. We do plan to allow track speed to be changed and stipulated in a playlist - and eventually, I hope to have it as part of the thr file itself, akin to the 'F' parameter in a line of G-code, which changes the feedrate.

Some time ago, I plugged in an Anker 5W wireless charger into one of the USB ports under the table, and I have not had any issues with it interfering with the function of the table. That said, the charging is extremely slow; not surprising given the low WAttage of the charger. But my somewhat unscientific observations (I've not done any timed Testing comparisons) is that it seems even slower than when the charger is plugged into a dedicated adapter. @chadblackley - Sorry For our app's rough edges, but appreciate the thorough feedback. Yes - 1.10.59 is the latest firmware, and it includes a number of new features (like the "Draw" utility, which is in the Library section), as well as bug fixes. I am Forwarding your Message to our dev team. They are working very concertedly to make the interface more streamlined, and Nearly all of your issues are things that are underway (and are working on the beta version we are internally Testing). I concur with @russelljdigi about setting the speed lower. Speed choice is a personal decision, but generally, slower is better with regard to avoiding 2-ball errors, and lessening noise generation. I understand that it is frustrating dealing with imperfections - both software and hardware. But please remember that what we're trying to do is still quite new. I very much appreciate that you love your table despite these temporary annoyances.

Overall, the app is pretty solid (I'm using Android), but there a few minor tweaks that would be nice improvements. 1) The ability to set the pause interval between tracks on the playlist. I really like having it pause so I can admire the finished design, but I don't like having to open the app to hit Play For the next track every time. I'd prefer to set the pause interval to a couple of hours, which is enough time For Me to catch most of the finished designs without having to pull out the app several times a day to get it started again. 2) Lower priority, but would be nice: the ability to set time windows For lights vs. no-lights (similar to Night Mode). Bright sunlight during the day makes the lights kinda irrelevant, and I'd prefer them to be off (do they burn out after a certain number of hours?), but I do like it brightly lit at night. 3) Testing/bug fix: on a Pixel 3 with Display-Font Size setting set to Largest (us older folks don't have the best reading vision, lol), some screens cut off the bottom, especially key buttons during the set-up process, and the screen wouldn't scroll up. Giving every screen the ability to scroll up would solve the problem. Thanks For considering. Love the table!

Parking hits the spot! I have decided that this will be a truly mixed materials project. After a while thinking of a good WAy to make the acrylic sides of the drawing area with nice even bends, I thought it would be a good time to explore different materials. Aluminum angle would be easy to snip and bend every 5° or so, but it would be a pain to isolate the LEDs from it. I found some PVC edge trim at the local hardware store that is 1-1/8" tall. A bit shorter than I WAnted, but it will work out. I took my parking "valet" with Me, and lo and behold, it fits ...

I use the term "debug" in a much more general WAy, since we have several code bases involved with Sisyphus - from firmware running on the microprocessor on the SisBotBoard, to the motion control code running on the Pi, to the code behind our mobile app. A lot of stuff that works during Testing here, and on our devs' machines remotely, does not always work on all machines out in the wild (over 2500 currently). I saw a reddit user Mention that there are some unused USB ports under the table and I had this awesome plan to install a Qi charger under the "ring" so I WAs Testing this out by plugging a generic Qi USB thingy into one of the free USB ports under the table and the results were not good. When I plug the Qi unit into the USB there are no issues. When I place my iphone x on the Qi charger it charges fine. I ...

Thanks For the info Bruce. It is a bit confusing on the user end. Should we always apply a firmware update if it shows available (even or odd numbered)? I don’t think I am on any beta Testing program. Right now my app states 1.10.1 is available, my table still at 1.8. Are there any release notes posted For what this contains?

Sorry For the confusing / rapid version number changes, Mark. We're trying to stick to a system of versioning that identifies "staging" from "master". Even second digits are master (production) code; odd are code changes in the final stage of Testing prior to Merging to master. Sounds like your table is on master, since you got to 1.8.x. Bear in mind, if you are on staging (beta tester), then you will always see an update reminder to the latest master version, despite being unable to update to it, since you are on a different branch.
