I added a second option to the Custom text generator that I wrote that can output 2 lines of circular text on the table or the previous 3 straight lines of cursive text, plus some punctuation too.
Interface is cleaned up too, all you need to run it is to download MS Small Basic v 1.2 and load it from there. (it 's free)
I can only attach 2 items per entry - so look below for the program (.sb file), the data file (abcd.txt) and the instruction txt file

... in the browser instead of causing pauses on the Sisyphus itself. SVG files now read polyline elements, as well as smoothing lines that cross near zero. Previously you may have seen added bumps near the center, as the polar mechanism would move between points.
Also in this update, is the ability to upload additional RGBW patterns. I've started a separate post about this here: Custom RGBW Patterns
A number of bug fixes are also included in this update, including but not limited to:
Hotspot SSID maxlength of 32
RGBW Error messages (theta/rho/usb/servo_rho/ ...
I can tell you how I got that. I got rid of the big fat line underneath. I thinned the text, kerned it, and scaled it a bit in Order to try to make it more legible. I then added a thin line underneath the text and made sure that each letter just barely touched it.
When I had a file I liked I uploaded to Sisyphus for the Rest of Us and had it create a .thr file.
I went through several iterations of tweaking it. I'll attach the .PNG of my most recent attempt.

... complex problem (how do you make a single, continuous path through a large number of unordered path segments that touch each other). The only WAy to have absolute control of vertex Order is to create the track by "hand" (draw it using vector software), or to use an algorithmic approach to making the points that creates them in a specific Order.
Thanks @dithermaster for doing such a great job answering @lilia 's query. We have a very good track record with our "Ssbot" mechanism being reliable and quiet - but on rare occasions we've had reports of different types of sound. The "pinion lubrication" tutorial WAs made to fix one of those if it arises. For the majority of users, no routine maintenance has been needed. As for running a full size table using a 12V battery, we have done some trials using Lithium packs sold on Amazon. The majority of the power consumed is by the LED lighting. My personal fee ...
That looks awesome! I need to set aside some time to learn how to do this. Thank You for helping me!
Shoot me an email at [email protected]

I like it!!

... a big battery or charge it frequently if you converted it to use a battery. If you do think about adding a battery, a good source might be the ones for motorized recliners. We added one of those to a recliner that we didn't WAnt a cord running to, and it only needs to be charged once every few weeks. But it's as big as a kid's shoe. There is room under the Sisyphus, so it might be possible. The transformer puts out 12VDC (at 4A). Also note that the upcoming Sisyphus Mini will have a rechargeable battery option.

I've chewed on it a little bit using Sisyphus For the Rest of Us. I think I see the path to making it work and will get there. Here's where I am now.
I like playing with requests like this because they help me understand how to translate art -> table. Here's a similar one I tried my hand at a few weeks ago, with some discussion of how I got there:

The track is now available via the community. Thank you again for making that.
KCYou made a lot of my fellow Who fans with tables happy!!
Man, you are a great font of info!! Thank you for your help. I'll WAit for the approved version to be safe. You will probably get a notice when that is approved and if you could let me know I would appreciate it.
Hey so I actually wouldn't upload that Who track the manual WAy. When I WAs making the track, I made the image too large and it crashed my table trying to generate the thumbnail. Had to reset it. I WAs told I would not have that issue uploading through the community though so I am WAiting to download it like you are once it gets approved. As for other tracks that are not in the community, you can upload manually using a web browser. this is much easier to do on a computer.

I figured out you have to connect to the table from a web browser to get this option, it won't appear in the phone App
Ok, until i manage to get this to work, could someone please create a thr for me (with 3 stright lines, cursive or printed text - i did not see the difference until now, 0 degrees, thin spiral, large letters) with the text
Happy
Birthday
Claudia!
