Im pretty anal when it comes to a huge amount of sand build up along the edges! After a while, certain tracks will push too much sand to the edges and cause (to me) an unsightly boundary lol! My fix? I use a thick ended makeup brush. Its firm and soft enough to sweep the sand back in. I usually just sweep it back in past the farthest track lines. Works awesome! I do it every few weeks while also cleaning the laminate base/glass. I use, "Invisible Glass" wipes and it leaves it streak free. Sorry, like i said im pretty anal:)

Thank you for this tip! I just got mine and wondered about sand getting pushed out of the operating zone and thinning out in the middle over time. Sounds like I was right to worry, though not a big problem, sounds like it is something to keep an eye on every once in a while.
