| Hello and thanks for sharing this tip. I have just received my Mini Executive and found exact similar issue. I am going to test this possible fix now and let you know UPDATE: this is indeed fixing this IP issue. I WAs not able to connect at the first reboot. For some reason, once connected to the Hotspot, when trying to connect to my Internet it did not find my router at the beginning. I had to reboot once again and forget all previous connections to then be able to reconnect to the Hotspot and find my router in a list. | |||||

| @finntoogood Hot off the press: The bug causing this has been fixed in the most recent firmware update - which doesn't help in your situation. However, you should be able to fix the "zombie Hotspot" by resetting your Sisbot. To do this, while powered up, hold the button on the Raspberry Pi "hat" (small piggy-back board on the green circuit board) for ~5 sec. After releasing, it should reboot and the Hotspot be reachable. Once connected to your WiFi, you can then update. Let me know if this doesn't work. | |||||

Sometimes it connects, plays a track then I select another and it drops the connection. Sometimes it looks connected, but doesn't home and start when a track is selected. Basically, just a bunch of odd behavior. I'm updated on the latest firmware. I've, unplugged many times, hit the reset button several times. I just can't get a decent connection lately. Just seems odd that this is happening on two different networks. | |||||

| Hi Micah, Thanks for the reply. I did cycle the power with the cable plugged in with the same results. I then downed the wlan interface once I had a vaild ip off the cable just to get it out of the WAy. I can do a constant ping to the wired address with no loss, yet same behavior when connected through a browser. Main page comes up, 2 sec goes to the loss of connetion page. I WAs able to enable a Hot spot on another computer and bridge the wireless connection to the same wired network. That seemed to work and I WAs able to connect. The end table that I'm w ... | |||||
