| I wholeheartedly appreciate the file name for that video. Totally heard the echoing G hahahha. Thanks so much! I may revisit this when I finally get the table done! It's getting close, may start Cutting wood this week! | |||||

| Thanks Bruce for the instructions. It went amazingly well.. I WAs afraid that the removal of the ballpark would damage the cushion material but it WAs indeed very easy, with the butter knife.. And yes, for those who would like to do the same, HOLD DOWN the fabric and proceed slowly by "cutting" and prying underneath. You mentioned "carpet tape".. For me, looks more like spray glue... Anyway, the process left absolutely no trace, no glue, nothing from the ballpark on the table fabric... Very happy! Thanks again Attachment : No_trace.jpg Attachment ... | |||||

| I would have never thought of this, excellent idea! I call mine a bench scraper, and used it for unsticking my gingerbread cutout cookies from my pastry board a couple days ago. I have also used it for collecting and maneuvering things like diced onions or chopped herbs from the Cutting board into the recipe. | |||||

| I hear you. We are working on making the app better. The focus is going to be not on brute force (cutting power and turning back on). Everything is connected and has an API (way to "talk" to the world). Sisyphus. Alexa. Homekit (Siri).... It's coming. Just can't pinpoint how long it will take us. But not long is my prediction. | |||||
| RE: Adding colored LEDs | 7 Relevance | 8 years ago | heropup | Table Customization | |
| As the first person (that I am aware of) who added colored LEDs to a table, this is nearly identical to the approach I used to modify my end table. The silicone sealant WAs loose enough for me to partially separate the drawing surface from the rim, and that's how I threaded the LIFX Z connector through. I didn't do any drilling. But with this approach, there WAsn't enough space for both the LIFX Z and the original Sisyphus LED cable to thread through the slot, so I disconnected the Sisyphus LED cable. But it can always be reconnected if desired. Another ... | |||||

| Updates: I got my Life Z extension strip and it popped in very easily. You can only trim the strips between every 6th light, but it just so happens that it fits PERFECTLY in the 36" table by Cutting off just the last two sets of 6. I am going to attach some pictures as promised. I think I can only attache one file per post, so this will be a short collection of posts. First up is a close up of the Life Z cord poking through the slit I made in the velvet. You can see that the velvet lays down very neatly over/around it. Attachment : IMG_3450.JPG | |||||
