Ive noticed that some of the contest submission tracks automatically draw an erase track before drawing the lovely design. Normally it wouldn't bother me but most of them take 22 or more minutes to erase where as the regular "erase" track takes 6 minutes. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, this is a known issue. The "erase" track is special - it runs 3x the speed of other tracks. And while it's possible to create a track that is the same as "erase" and even save it as a track called "erase" - only the original erase has the 3x speed built in. The other issue is that the utility "Sisyphus For The Rest Of Us" (SFTROU) has an option for adding a "pre-erase" before the tracks it generates. Since it is just a long move between two polar points and not the true "erase" track, it runs at normal speed.
