Does anyone have a good solution to hide the cable ? There are cable hiders out there, but I don't find them to be very aesthetic.

Our table is on a rug, and I cut a hole in the rug and run the wire under it. I know it's frowned upon, but it was safer than having the wire out in the open.

I like the idea. At least, if you put the cable under the cover, it happens at the periphery of the rug, far from the center of the living room.
