Hello, have gone through numerous bumpers to hold the glass on the black powder coated metal rim. They tend to come off pretty easy once we bump the glass or put our feet up on the table. Need to secure the table better and wondering if anyone has come up with an alternative?
We know the current bumper strategy is less than ideal, and are working on a better solution (hopefully, and all-the-way-round rubber seal). At issue now is getting it to look nice. Will announce when we have something better available.
I have also experienced the issue of the glass moving and pulling the adhesive bumpers off. Removing the adhesive, cleaning the frame and glass is a headache. I am real close to drilling 4 or 8 holes in the top of the metal frame and inserting black bumpers with a stem that goes into the holes. These will not move or come off. This way you would simply have to reposition the glass top if it does move.
