This is does not cause a problem with function. However, over time, depending on the tracks you’ve been playing, you may find the sand becomes thinner than ideal in the center. Some tracks are particularly good when played backwards (outside to center) at moving sand toward the center. These include “Apache1”, “Sola3” and “Peoni1”. To force these tracks to play outside -> in, create a new playlist called “plow in” (or whatever name you want) that contains 2 tracks:
- e10 (this is a short spiral track that will travel from center to edge quickly)
- Apache1 (or Sola3 or Peoni1)
Play this playlist with repeat on and not shuffled. Leave it running for a while (overnight works well) since it may require several repeats to move enough sand to your liking toward the center. If this does not work well enough, you can always remove the glass and LED ring, and brush sand inward.
